盛夏酷暑，哪里是获得身心清凉的栖息地？

2012年8月4日至6日，北京龙泉寺将举办为期三天的“六·一九观音菩萨成道日法华法会”，祈祷国泰民安，世界和平，消灾免难。
同期，将面对广大外语爱好者及国际背景人士设立多语种分会场，举办独具特色的系列活动，如多语种诵经（备有中、英、法、德、俄、日、韩、西等语种的经本）、静坐实践、英文早晚课、法师开示、国际沙龙“全球化背景下的家庭教育”、农禅体验等等。
英文分场将在3天的时间里由法师领众唪诵英文妙法莲华经》。此经的地位，如本经中世尊所云：“此经为尊，众经中上，我常守护，不妄开示，今正是时，为汝等说。”此经素称大乘“经中之王”，对中国文化产生了深远的影响。诵经利益不可思议，欢迎大众共沾法喜！

From August 4th to 6th, 2012, a three-day Lotus Sutra Dharma Assembly for the Enlightenment of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is to be held in Beijing Longquan Monastery. Let’s join together to pray for the welfare of the people, well-being of the country, peace of the world, and elimination of disasters.
At the multilingual venues of the Dharma Assembly welcomed are all friends from different cultures and with different tongues to participate in a special series of activities. These include multilingual scripture-chanting (available are Buddhist scriptures in Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, etc.), meditation practice, morning and evening recitation in English, monks’ Dharma talks, international salon themed “Family Education in Globalization” , and monastic farming experiences.
At the English venue of the three-day Dharma Assembly, participants are going to chant Wonderful Dharma Lotus Flower Sutra under the leading of monks. As the World Honored One in such sutra says:“This Discourse of mine is the most precious among all the scriptures; I have always guarded it, kept it safe and never revealed it rashly or too soon; now, indeed, this is the time to proclaim it to you all.”This sutra has always been considered the “king of Mahayana sutras”, exerting a profound and extensive influence on the traditional Chinese culture. Chanting Buddhist scriptures produces inconceivable benefits. Why not join us?

一、活动时间：2012年8月4日～8月6日
二、活动地点：北京市海淀区龙泉寺路27号北京龙泉寺
三、报名及录取条件：
1. 招收范围：广大外语爱好者及国际背景人士；
2. 参加者身心健康，无突发性及传染性疾病；
3. 申请报名须填写报名表（附近期照片），发至本活动指定电子邮箱（见下），或将打印稿直接交给联系人。
四、报到时间：
参加法会的人员请于2012年8月4日（周五）10：00—18:00持个人有效证件（限于皈依证、身份证、护照）到北京龙泉寺客堂报到。
法会期间其他时间也可随缘参加。
五、注意事项：
1. 寺院内食宿全程免费（住宿条件有限，满员的话附近有农家院旅店可以住宿）；
2. 请自觉遵守寺院各堂口规约；
3. 洗漱用具等基本生活用品请自备（寺院可提供脸盆）；
4. 山上夏季凉爽，气温比市区低3～4℃，请选择合适着装（要求上不露肘，下不露膝）
5. 寺庙住宿床位有限，请尽量早到。
