His Holiness, our Spiritual Patron will be visiting us from 27th May to 11th June. In this visit, HH will confer the rare and extraordinary Vajrakilaya Great Empowerment, its teachings and pujas. This is rare as the teaching not only continues through the unbroken lineage from the Primordial Buddha, but has also been passed down through the Khon hereditary lineage, unbroken.
Each of these masters, from Guru Padmasambhava to those of the present, has achieved great realization, and as a result, performed great miracles. Please share this great news to your friends and love ones to benefit fully the enormous blessing of Vajrakilaya, to be bestowed by our matchless Guru HH Sakya Trizin.
Vajrakilaya is not only special to the Khon lineage, but also very special for His Holiness as Vajrakilaya is his personal yidam. It would be very beneficial to practitioners; and it is a great blessing for people to attend this Empowerment. The Great Blessing of Vajrakilaya is beneficial as it dispels obstacles, maras and black karmic influence and swiftly accomplishes our wishes and missions. People will live harmoniously and united in pursuit of the Buddhadharma at our Centre. With such auspiciousness and miraculous power of Vajrakilaya and HH’s blessings, we have also timed our 4th Land Lease fund raising activity during this stay of His Holiness. His Noble Son, His Eminence Doongsay Gyana Vajra Rinpoche, will assist His Holiness in conducting the Program. We are very fortunate indeed to have these two Glorious Teachers to grace the occasion.
His Holiness and entourage will arrive on the 27th May, Sunday and a Ten Soom will be offered to His Holiness at the Main Hall of our temple. His Holiness program begins with a 2-day Public Dharma talk on “Freeing the Heart and Mind” on the evenings of 28th and 29th May at Tai Pei Buddhist Center. After this auspicious beginning, HH will bestow Mind Resting 2-Armed Chenrezig Wangchen on 30th May. On 31st May, HH will take a rest to prepare for the all important Vajrakilaya Event which is linked to our fourth Land Lease Renewal fund raising activity.
At Sakya Tenphel Ling, the Vajrakilaya Event starts with a 2-Day Vajrakilaya Great Empowerment (Wangchen) on 1st and 2nd June and an explanation on the Sadhana on 3rd June. Then comes the 1st Day of the Vajrakilaya Drupchod Ritual on 4th June and continues for another 6 Days. Within these 7 days of Kilaya ritual activities we can immerse ourselves in the great blessing of the Deity Kilaya by participating as sponsors, registrants, and most importantly, participate in the phurpa blessings where we can retain the blessing of the Deity by acquiring a Phurpa consecrated and blessed by His Holiness and His Eminence. There is a comprehensive range of Phurpas ranging from King Phurpa, the wrathful Prince Phurpa, the 9-inch and 6-inch Phurpas. There will be opportunity to receive auspicious offerings at the end of each day’s Puja, registrants and sponsors of the Puja can come at the end of the day to collect them, items are limited and only available at the end of each day’s Puja. No reservation allowed and depending on availability. This is an opportunity that we should not miss. Please make enquiries with our office.
His Holiness will give an empowerment of the Path Hevajra on the 11th June before HIS departure. All Vajra Brothers and Sisters and Friends who have taken before do come and attend. There will be 25 new seats available for first time takers.Please register early to avoid disappointment.
